How to revive your miniatures

Discover the simple steps to bringing your old miniatures back to life with The Paint Purge. We make the process easy, efficient, and hassle-free so you can get back to what you love – painting and playing!

Step 1: Get in touch

To begin, simply send an email to ThePaintPurge@outlook.com. Please include a clear photo of the miniatures you'd like stripped. It's helpful if you also detail the material they are made of (plastic, resin, or metal).

At your request we can also prime your models after they have been stripped and replace the bases.

We'll then provide you with a comprehensive quote.

Each quote is unique depending on the amount and material of the miniatures, as some will take longer than others to strip. Soaking time isn't charged only the messy scrubbing / preparation time.

Step 2: Securely send your miniatures

Once you're happy with your quote, carefully pack your miniatures in a sturdy box, ensuring they are well-protected for their journey. Send them to us, and we'll take care of the rest. We recommend using a tracked service for your peace of mind.

Step 3: The stripping process

Leave the hard work to us! Stripping models can be time-consuming and messy. The Paint Purge offers a professional service, saving you; time, effort and mess. We have multiple options of different paint strippers to suite your models needs. We carefully strip paint from plastic, resin, and metal models, allowing you to enjoy painting and getting back to the tabletop quicker, without the hassle of DIY stripping.

Step 4: Extras

We can also replace the bases. We stock some of the most popular sizes and shapes but will order in any if need be and will price accordingly. We try to keep the cost down as much as possible, If we can reuse old bases we will.

We can prime your models if requested in black (Colour Forge Matt Black).

Step 5: Payment

We will keep you up to date through the process and let you know when they are done.

Step 6: Your miniatures returned

Once your miniatures are stripped and prepared, we'll carefully pack them back into a box and securely wrap them for their return journey. The return postage will be included in your initial quote price, so there are no hidden fees. We'll provide you with tracking information so you can anticipate their arrival.
